Saturday Respite is a center and community based recreation program for individuals with developmental disabilities who are 18 and older and living at home. Family members are provided with five hours of free time while participants take part in recreational activities and peer socialization. Center based activities include, but are not limited to, games, music, dancing, exercise, arts and crafts and videos. Community outings consist of visits to local parks, shopping malls, restaurants, bowling alleys, movies, libraries, amusement parks, historical sites and museums. Program hours are from 10AM to 3PM every other Saturday.
