Your partnership is critical to our mission
EPIC Long Island, originally established as the Epilepsy Foundation of Long Island, offers a broad range of services to individuals with developmental disabilities, emotional and mental health challenges, and epilepsy. Our mission is to enhance the lives of the individuals we serve by helping them achieve their full potential and to provide education and training about epilepsy.
Your gift to EPIC Long Island will help to further our ability to offer the highest quality care and ensure that everyone we serve, regardless of medical, developmental, and emotional challenges, has the opportunity to lead a full, productive life.
Donations help us to assist and educate thousands of individuals each year through the following programs:
- Services for individuals with developmental disabilities that encompasses a residential program operating 15 homes throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties; a day habilitation program; Saturday respite; and a community services program with Medicaid service coordination
- Comprehensive clinical services for people with developmental disabilities and epilepsy
- A mental health clinic catering to a broad scope of mental health concerns
- A Community Education and Outreach program providing essential support, education, and training related to epilepsy to individuals, families, and professionals throughout Long Island
EPIC Long Island is unique in our efforts to engage the families of the individuals we serve by creating a sense of community that enriches their own lives as well as the lives of their loved ones.
