Human Resources

F/T Benefits Manager/Nassau County

The Benefits Manager is responsible for the administration of Agency-wide benefits including FMLA, LOA, COBRA, state disability and workers' compensation.  The Benefits Manager will assist employees with all benefit related inquiries, maintain employee data base, supplement payroll, manage all insurance billings and maintain employee files.

Requirements:

BA/BS in human resources, business administration, or related field and a minimum of two (2) years benefit administrator experience required.  The ideal candidate must be willing to travel throughout Nassau and Suffolk to program sites.

 

 

 

 

Residential Program

FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE AT OUR NASSAU AND SUFFOLK COUNTY PROGRAMS.  WEEKEND, OVERNIGHT, MORNING AND EVENING SHIFTS AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY. 

 

Under the general direction of the residential management team, the Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing direct care to the individuals we serve in such a manner that will promote their independence and individuality.  Minimum requirements include:

  • A verifiable HS Diploma or GED
  • A valid and clean (8 or less points) NYS Driver’s License
  • The ability to attend the Agency's mandatory Orientation Program
  • The right aptitude and a positive attitude
  • A minimum of 6 months experience working with individuals with intellectual challenges a plus, but not required
  • CPR certified and SCIP-R certified a plus, but not required

F/T residence manager/ Nassau County

The Residence Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the residential program and will provide overall leadership, vision and direction in the areas of consumer services, program development, physical plant management, regulatory compliance, strategic planning and program staffing.

Requirements:

HS diploma/GED , minimum of three (3) years OPWDD experience with at least one (1) year in a supervisory capacity, and a clean and valid NYS driver's license required.  BA/BS strongly preferred.  The ideal candidate is highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities; able to multi-task, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; and able to work flexible hours including late evenings, early mornings, overnight and weekends.

F/T QIDP/ Suffolk county

The QIDP is responsible for the development, monitoring, implementation, revision and documentation of ISPs.

Requirements:

BA/BS in a health related field (psychology, social work, special education, etc.), minimum one (1) year experience working with DD population, and a clean and valid NYS driver's license required.  Prior experience with behavior plans a plus.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Community Services

Part-Time At-Home Community Habilitation Specialist in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. 

Under the general direction of the Community Services Coordinator, the In-Home Residential Habilitation Support Professional is responsible for providing services to the consumer in accordance with the established Individual Service Plan as well as the In-Home Residential Habilitation Plans.  This dedicated candidate will be responsible for providing training and support for the individual in accordance with the person’s In-Home Residential Habilitation Plans; and assisting the individual in the planning, coordinating and attending community inclusion activities within his/her home and community.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or a GED, a college degree in Human Service, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred.  A minimum of one-year experience providing direct care support to intellectually  challenged individuals preferred.  Clean and Valid NYS Driver's License.  The ideal candidate is highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities; able to multi-task, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; and able to work flexible hours including late evenings, early mornings, overnight and weekends.

 

 

Mental Health Clinic

Fee for Service Psychotherapist at our main office in east meadow, ny.

 

Under the general direction of the Director of Clinic Services, the Psychotherapist will provide individual, group and family psychotherapy.   

Requirements:

License Clinical Social Worker.  Experience working with mentally ill patients. Experience working in the substance abuse field a plus.  The ideal candidate is highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities; able to multi-task, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; and able to work flexible hours including late evenings and early mornings.
